It can sometimes feel difficult to get these programs to work together. There are some ways to ensure that your software doesn't crash or become buggy. Most of these steps apply to the majority of CAD programs, and although certain people may find these suggestions are too easy but I believe they're items we tend to neglect or forget as we progress.

Save early, and save frequently

Murphy's Law is applicable to CAD programs. They have a tendency to crash and freeze and then lose all your work. You should also make several save files. A minimum of one per day is recommended. This will enable you to return to an earlier design. This will also allow you to keep track of your design changes during the process of designing.

Look for overlaps and connections

Take a look at what you've selected

There are many forums that can assist you with any kind of problem. You should take this first step in case things go wrong. It will make a difference in your time.
